Support
We're here to help
hello@pipfamily.com
In the app, you'll also find Contact support in Household. It helps to tell us which iPhone or iPad you use.
Your household
How do I add my partner or family?
Sign in with Apple in Household, then tap Share invite code. They install Pip, choose I have an invite code and pick who they are. Everyone in the household shares the plan, the grocery list and the fridge. You can also add people who aren't on Pip, like children, and Pip sizes their portions too.
Someone shouldn't be in our household any more
The household's owner can open them in Household and choose Remove from household, then make a new invite code so the old one stops working.
Phones and iPads
I got a new phone. How do I keep my plan?
If you signed in with Apple, install Pip on the new phone and tap I already use Pip. You can also choose Use Pip on another device in Household on your old phone and scan the code on the new one.
Can I use Pip on my iPad too?
Yes. Use Use Pip on another device in Household and scan the code with the iPad, or, if you've signed in with Apple, tap I already use Pip on the iPad.
Pip Pro
What's free and what's Pro?
Planning your own meals is free, with no limits: picking meals, repeating last week, swaps, groceries, prep day and widgets. Pip Pro is for when you'd like Pip to plan your weeks, bring in recipes from links, and write meal-prep plans. Each household's first week planned by Pip is free, and one subscription covers everyone in the household.
How do I cancel or change my plan?
Pip Pro is billed by Apple. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name, then Subscriptions, or tap Manage subscription in Pip. Cancel at least 24 hours before it renews and Pro stays on until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting your Pip account doesn't cancel it.
I paid but Pip doesn't show Pro
Tap Restore purchases on the Pip Pro page or in Household. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple Account you paid with. If it still doesn't work, email us.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Recipes
A recipe import didn't work
Pip reads the post's text, so it needs the recipe written in the caption or on the page. If there's no recipe there, Pip says so. Try the recipe's own website, or paste the recipe text instead.
Something's wrong with a shared recipe
Open the recipe's menu and tap Report recipe. Reported recipes are hidden while we look. If you created a recipe and want it removed, email us the link to your post.
Are the calories exact?
They're estimates from USDA food data and can be off. Pip gives general guidance on portions, not medical advice. If you have a health condition, check with a doctor or dietitian.
Your account and data
How do I delete my account?
In Pip, go to Household, then Account, and tap Delete account. This removes your account straight away, and your household too if you're the last one in it. Remember to cancel Pip Pro with Apple as well.
What do you do with my data?
Our privacy policy explains what Pip keeps and why. We don't sell your data.
